Yukihiro Jindo (神藤由東大?) is a freelance composer and arranger currently doing contract work for Falcom.

Born on October 2, 1973, Jindo became interested in music since he was a child, and began his musical career by playing violin and viola in orchestras since he was a teenager. After his college days, he entered the field of commercial music as a freelance composer/arranger for games, commercials, corporate music videos, musicals, teaching computer music (DTM), etc. He is currently based in Kobe and is active in a variety of fields. He also works at PRESSTONE Osaka.

Jindo's first official credit was Ys VI in 2003 under "Special Thanks", for which he composed all the orchestral cutscene music and also arranged tracks "Quatera Woods" and "Mighty Obstacle". Following Trails in the Sky FC and Gurumin in 2004, he was entrusted with arranging the score of Ys III for Ys: The Oath in Felghana in 2005, which earned him a high reputation over the fanbase along with his work on Ys I & II Chronicles and multiple arrange albums. Jindo has been involved on pretty much every arrange album released within the last two decades, and he was also the director of the second generation of jdk BAND from 2007 to 2015 until they disbanded and Mitsuo Singa became the current band leader.

As a former member of an orchestra and an expert in classical music, Jindo is especially good at symphonic and string-based music. When it comes to writing sumptuous and realistic orchestral sounds, Jindo's symphonic skill is unrivaled, as seen in tracks like "Great Power", "Lacrimosa of DANA", "Excellion Krieg" and so on.

His outstanding musicality is also on full display with rock-based music -- catchy melodies and arrangements full of enthusiasm that instantly grab the heart of the listeners, backed with solid technology and excellently directed live performances recorded on studio. This has been demonstrated in dozens of arrangements, as well as in original compositions like "The Foliage Ocean of Celceta", "Exceed!", "Glessing Way!", etc. His number of casual, pop-based music has also increased recently due to diversification, including groovy tracks such as "At the End of Disaster", "Master's Vertex" and "Heart Beat Shaker".

Jindo, like Singa, is an independent contractor, and as such, is not bound by the company's strict policies, therefore he is allowed certain privileges not afforded to the internal sound team, like the ability to use live performances in his work, make public appearances, have social media accounts and being able to publicly state which music tracks he worked on.
