Ys VI Online: The Ark of Napishtim (イースVI Online～ナピシュテムの匣～) is a mobile MMORPG based on the original Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. It's a free-to-play online game containing microtransactions.
Gameplay[]
The player controls an original character, whose design and abilities vary depending on their class. At launch, the player could choose from the four different starting classes Warrior, Mage, Assassin and Ranger. The fifth starting class "Samurai", and the corresponding advanced class "Shura", were added to the Japanese server on October 13, 2021, along with a system to change the player characters class.[1] Upon reaching player level 48, a series of quests becomes available which allows promoting from an initial class to one of the related advanced classes.
On April 20, 2022 the Demon Hunter advanced class was added to the Japanese server.[2] It does not require any specific initial class and can instead be promoted to from any of the existing classes. It is also the first class to offer both a male and a female character option, whereas the other classes are locked to a specific gender. On September 21, 2022 another advanced class called "Dragon Fighter" was added to the Japanese server.[3] Like the Demon Hunter class, it can be promoted to from any initial class.

- Warriors: use sword and shield and close-range combat.
- Mages: use magic staves and wide range attack.
- Assassins: use dual blades to attack with high speed.
- Rangers: use bow for ranged attacks and healings.
- Samurai: use tachi/katanas for close, high-speed and wide attacks.
- Advanced Classes
- Knight: Advanced class of Warriors that focuses on defense.
- Berserker: Advanced class of Warriors that focuses on attack.
- Ninja: Advanced class of Assassins that focuses on stealth.
- Navigator: Advanced class of Assassins that focuses on luck.
- Ice Mage: Advanced class of Mages that focuses on status effects.
- Pyro Mage: Advanced class of Mages that focuses on wide range attacks.
- Windwalker: Advanced class of Rangers that focuses on speed.
- Priest: Advanced class of Rangers that focuses on healing.
- Shura: Advanced class for Samurai.
- Demon Hunter: Advanced class for any of the initial classes that focuses on long range physical damage.
- Dragon Fighter: Advanced class for any of the initial classes that focuses on melee attacks that get stronger with lower health.
