The PS2 version of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim features cheat codes that you can input in a special room.
The European/Australian (PAL) version's codes are different from the USA and JP versions and it also doesn't feature all of them.
Note that there might be more cheat codes that haven't been discovered yet.
How To Use Cheat Mode[]
Start a new game, and enter the cheat menu. Enable the cheats you must first put in the "Master Code" by striking the RED-BLUE-YELLOW-RED-BLUE-YELLOW crystals in order, and then striking the center pedestal with a downward thrust. You should hear a chime.
Enter any of the following cheats by striking the gems in the order listed and then confirming the code with a downward thrust to the center pedestal. If you screw up, hit the center pedestal to clear the slate. If you enter the code correctly, you should hear the familiar Ys item acquisition fanfare.
