The Wailing Blue (蒼哭の領域) is the beginning section of the Darm Tower in Ys Origin. The player can find the Cerulean Flabellum in this section, which enables them to use wind magic and float in the air for a short while.
Design[]
The theme of this area is wind, as there are tall platforms that the player needs to jump across with wind magic to reach the other side. There is a magic trap set by Zava at the end of Floor 2 that will teleport the player to Floor 4. The trap can be deactivated by equipping the Blue Necklace (Yunica or Hugo) or boosting to demon form (Toal) and destroying the four Nustarls in the corners of the room.
The floor boss is Velagunder.
