Velagunder is a boss that appears in Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished: The Final Chapter and Ys Origin.
It has two long arms and a giant eye on its head, with a giant mouth at its abdomen. Its giant eye can fire a laser beam to attack, and its mouth is capable of spewing poisonous bubbles out and chomping on its enemies. Its armor protect it from most physical attacks; however, its giant eye is a weak point when stunned.
It is one of the six demon leaders that assaulted Ys.

A huge demon whose body is protected from sword strikes by a hard shell. Fires energy from its eye to decimate its victims. Since physical attacks are ineffective, those with no magic are doomed in its wake.
Ys Origin[]
A massive beast confronted in the Wailing Blue tier. It can deliver blows of incredible force with its long arms and boasts a shell capable of deflecting any attack. It was the leader of the demons that assaulted Ys.
