Tomokatsu Hagiuda (萩生田朋克 ) is a composer and arranger that previously worked at Falcom, he is a mysterious individual who left the company during development of Trails of Cold Steel, with Ys: Memories of Celceta being his only official credit.
Hagiuda's style is a bit similar to Sonoda's on the surface, but he's more organized/stable, and his compositions are less muddy/more modern-sounding and very distinct. His contributions in Trails of Cold Steel I and II are on par with Unisuga's level, and he seemed to be very skilled at genres such as ambient, lounge, techno, orchestra, ballads and also excels at area and event themes. His best work often incorporated his orchestral style, where he showed off highly controlled, precise compositions that perfectly matched scenes contextually. It is no exaggeration to say that him and Unisuga pretty much defined the Cold Steel sound and set the entire music foundation of the Erebonia arc with Cold Steel I.
When it comes to the Ys series, his only contribution was Memories of Celceta's arrangement of "The Dawn of Ys".
