Stoker (ストーカー) is a sorcerer from the distant past in Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand. He lost his humanity by imprisoning himself for 500 years inside a bracelet in order to protect his lover, Foresta.

Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand[]
Five hundred years before the events of Ys V, Stoker found himself defending Foresta and the Lumen Crystal from soldiers sent by Kefin, so the seal keeping the kingdom isolated would not be broken. After his lover unintentionally trapped herself in ice, he gave up his humanity by sealing himself inside a bracelet in order to save her.
Centuries later he revealed himself to Adol in the same location where he was attacked, Foresta Cave, and offered him the same bracelet he sealed himself in.
Later in the game, when Adol took control of the Philosopher's Stone with the power of the bracelet, he got sent back in time to the very same location and moment where the ancient sorcerer and his lover were being attacked. Adol then defeated the invading soldiers threatening the Lumen Crystal and Foresta, changing the course of history and causing the sorcerer to never lose his humanity in the first place.
In the end, with the power of the bracelet Stoker rescued Niena, who was destined to disintegrate alongside Kefin.
