Shuntaro Koguchi (古口駿太郎?) is a composer and arranger currently employed at Falcom.

He graduated from Chuo university's department of humanities and social sciences and joined the company in 2019, as part of a graduate recruitment program. He decided to pursue a career in video game music composition after hearing "Overdosing Heavenly Bliss" from Trails in the Sky the 3rd, a track that left a strong impression on him back when he was still attending high school.

In his first six months within the company he worked primarily as a debugger/game tester and got to name a few songs from Ys IX: Monstrum Nox, later, he had the opportunity to compose and arrange music for Trails Into Reverie, Trails Through Daybreak, Trails Through Daybreak II: Crimson Sin and Ys X: Nordics.

Koguchi has composed a fair share of noteworthy and fan favorite tracks during his time at Falcom, such as Trails Into Reverie's "Wind-Up Yesterday!", Trails Through Daybreak's "In The Dawn", "Open The Shard", "Hazard Coming", "Kuro -Beyond the Dawn-", Trails Through Daybreak II's "Hard-Boiled Short Cake", "News of Thaw", Ys X's "Yesterday's Journey, Tomorrow's Dream" and many others.

With a solid musical background and a deep understanding of Falcom's musical legacy, he was able to breathe new life into the sound team, something that hasn't been done in many years.
