Roy (ロイ) is a young Holy Knight and childhood friend to Yunica. He acts like a brother to her, which she hates. His combat skill and good judgment earned him a spot in the search party.

He serves as Yunica's love interest and in her character route, he is killed rescuing Yunica from a barrier made by Zava. In Hugo and Toal's routes, he is alive at the end and remains on the surface instead of returning to Ys.
