Rollo Norgungand (ロロ・ノルゲンガンド) also known as Rollo of the Bloody Seas (血海のロロ) is the legendary and notorious Norman pirate that terrorized Obelia Gulf. He is the main antagonist and final boss of Ys X: Nordics.
After meeting Lila Mistral and seeing his empty self, he decided to turn over a new leaf and become a pacifist. He "betrayed" his Shield Brother Ivar Dragonkeel and joined forces with Torsten Balta and established the Duchy of Norgard.
He uses the Sea King's Throne to rid himself of the malice planted inside of him by the god of chaos Loto. Later he married Lila Mistral and gave birth to a daughter named Lana Balta and built Lana's Floodgate, that is named after her, beside the capital "Ribe".
However, only a few years after the establishment of the nation, a disaster fell. The malice he chased away became the Griegr that destroyed his nation. After sending away the fleeing citizens on arks, he disappeared into the Isle of Recollection and was never seen again.
After more than a century, Adol Christin somehow enters the Isle of Recollection and meets the now aged Rollo. He has lost lost his memories during the century long solitude.

He is a large burly man with long, red hair, with part of it styled into two braids, He has thick bushy eyebrows. His weapon is a large axe with a sizable mallet-like hammer poll.
When the trident return to him, he is restored to his former glory.
