Before the Lombardia set sail, Quina got onto its cargo deck. Adol meets Quina in the captain's quarters, where she pretends to be one of the crew and a seasoned sailor. Later on, she's taken hostage on the Isle of Seiren by the Nameless Ripper. She was used as bait in a trap which ultimately lead to Captain Barbaros' death.
She later joins Castaway Village, where she would often work as lookout on the village's watchtower, as well as pull harmless pranks on Dogi. She requests Adol's help to make a charm for the captain's grave, to repay him for his sacrifice. Quina also reveals that she visits Captain Barbaros' grave every morning.
No one knows why she likes wearing a sailor's uniform. Her parents' whereabouts and her past remain a mystery.
