The Quatera Woods (クアテラの樹海) are a large forest covering most of Quatera Island, one of the Canaan Islands which serve as the setting Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. It serves as the first field area of the game.
The northwestern parts of the Quatera Woods leading to Windseeker Heights were closed off by the Rehda of the Rehdan Village as they contain significantly stronger enemies than the other parts of the woods. Adol Christin can choose to ignore this barrier by jumping over it.
