Ys II Special[]

She finds Adol in the ice ridge after his raft presumably got wrecked, at first she thought the adventurer was sent there for a crime he committed but he assures her that he was there in search of the goddesses' statues, the elderly woman then pointed him towards the Noltia Village to potentially find answers.

When Adol arrived at the village he went into the bar and met with Sada who was trying to reach the Solomon Shrine he argued that if a formidable warrior like himself couldn't succeed, then a young boy like Adol would stand no chance of survival and should simply give up. However, Adol remained determined to find a way forward. Sada concedes that there might be a solution involving the goddess statues—exactly what Adol is seeking. Unfortunately, reaching them is nearly impossible due to the slippery ice slopes. Sada suggests that Adol could potentially craft Stone Shoes to traverse the perilous slopes, but they would need to be made by an elderly woman who had been missing for the past sixteen years. With that information, Adol left Sada to his drunken revelry and sets off in search of the woman.

The woman in question was none other than Nolti, who had discovered Adol shortly after his arrival at the ice ridge. When Adol reunited with her, he requested her assistance in crafting the Stone Shoes. In response, she revealed a hidden wall behind her, creating an entrance to a secret room. Adol then followed her inside.

Inside, Nolti gestures for a young girl to step forward and speak with Adol. However, the girl quickly panics when Adol calls her by her name, "Arisa", and runs away. Nolti then questions Adol, asking if he intends to capture her, to which he firmly denies. He explains that Anea had asked him to speak with Arisa if he found her, which piqued her interest. To prove his intentions, Adol showed Arisa Anea’s Ring and reassured her that her mother now understood her feelings. Grateful for this news, Arisa gave Adol her necklace as a token of thanks. Satisfied with Adol's trustworthiness, Nolti agrees to craft the Stone Shoes, provided that Adol can bring her the necessary materials to do so.

Adol then headed to the bar to speak with Sada. After informing him that he has located the shoemaker, Sada agrees to provide two Stones: one for Adol's shoes and another for a pair for himself. With the arrangement made, Adol sets off to return to the shoemaker's dwelling. Upon returning to the elderly woman's home, she immediately began crafting the Stone Shoes for Adol. If and mentioned that Arisa had supposedly left in search of him.
