Katthew (カシュー) is an earnest crewman of the Lombardia who admires Captain Barbaros.

Appearance[]
Katthew is a young man with combed orange hair and blue eyes. He wears the Lombardia's sailor outfit, the same one Adol wears while working aboard the ship.
Background[]
Katthew was born and raised in a prominent port town. He was a shy kid, and a target for bullies, so he spent all his time at the port watching the ships. Eventually, Captain Barbaros asked Katthew to join the crew of the Lombardia.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana[]
Katthew first learned of the existence of adventurers when he met Adol and Dogi, who had come aboard the Lombardia as temporary sailors. Being so close in age to Adol, he treats him almost like a brother. When he gets shipwrecked on the Isle of Seiren, he is one of the last castaways to join Castaway Village, and thus never got to reunite with Captain Barbaros.
He vows to take on the Captain's wish of getting everyone off the island, and plans to get his own ship to become a stalwart captain of a large crew.
