Joel Asrad (ジョエル・アスラッド?) is a doctor who runs the Asrad Clinic in Carnac.
A man with sound medical knowledge and skills, he has been looking after the townspeople for many years alongside his steadfast daughter, Mirabel. Apparently, he is a huge fan of fishing and will head out to toss lines during work hours, something Mirabel has scolded him for many times over.

Treating all patients equally As a doctor, he treated both the citizens of Carnac as well as members of the Balta Navy, once, even criminals. What motivated him to do so?
Fulfillment His wife was taken by sickness which caused him much heartache. His dialogue with his daughter made him realize that he also matters to someone else.
