The Hieroglyph Church (星刻教会 (ほしこくきょうかい) , literally "Star-Carved Church"), formally known as the deo-christa religion, or simply The Church, is a widespread religious institution whose missionary work extends throughout the continent of Eresia. It is the designated national religion of the Romun Empire. The church seeks to spread the word of God or Hieroglyphs (星刻 (ほしこく) の神 (かみ) , literally "Star-Carved God") so that believers may be blessed by the inner peace He brings.
