The Grana-Vallis Mountain (グラナヴァリス Gurana Varisu) is a large mountain area in the northern parts of Canaan Island. Adol Christin heads there during the events of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim to search for Ur, the missing assistant of Raba and son of Rehda chief Ord.
On the peak of the Grana-Vallis Mountain lies the Altar of Brillante, where Adol finds a piece of the Mirror of Zeme. Upon picking it up, Jue appears and summons Zonplas. Adol fights and defeats Zonplas while the whole Altar of Brillante, including Adol and Zonplas, falls down to the bottom of the Grana-Vallis Mountain. There, Adol finds the Red Emelas sword, Brillante.
