Games

There are officially 11 games in the main Ys series with several older games being remade with newer up to date versions.

The current timeline for the events of the series is as follows:

1.  Ys Origin - Takes place about 700 years before Ys I.
2. Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished: Omen - The beginning of Adol's first adventure.
3. Ys II: Ancient Ys Vanished: The Final Chapter - The end of Adol's first adventure. Takes place immediately after the ending of Ys I.
   • Ys II Special (non-canon)
4. Ys X: Nordics - Takes place roughly 1 month after Ys II.
5. Ys: Memories of Celceta - Takes place shortly after Ys X.
   • Ys IV: Mask of the Sun (non-canon)
   • Ys IV: The Dawn of Ys (non-canon)
   • Ys IV: Mask of the Sun: A New Theory (non-canon)
6.  Ys: The Oath in Felghana - Takes place 1 year after Memories of Celceta.
   • Ys III: Wanderers from Ys (non-canon)
7.  Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand (partially canon) - Takes place 1 year after The Oath in Felghana.
   • Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand (PS2) (non-canon)
8.  Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana - Takes place immediately after Ys V.
9.  Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim - Takes place 2 years after Ys VIII.
10. Ys SEVEN - Takes place roughly 6 months after Ys VI.
11. Ys IX: Monstrum Nox - Takes places shortly after Ys SEVEN.
