Jenocres is a wizard-looking monster who teleports around the arena and shoots out projections. It also conjures beams of fire around the room to damage its opponents. It is summoned by Zava to guard the Rado's Annex in Ys Origin, and it is found at the depth of Solomon's Shrine in Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished: Omen.

Ys I and II Chronicles[]
A wizard who blocks the path to the lower levels of the shrine. Teleports at will while conjuring streams of blue flame from the sides of the room. Proves to be a most wily opponent indeed.
Ys Origin[]
A summoned demon of remarkable ugliness, encountered in Rado's Annex. Sends out bodily projections that surround its enemies. Attacks mercilessly, but a dedicated opponent should be able to defeat it.

Trivia[]
- Since Jenocres was never fought in the canon timeline (Toal's route), it is possible that the Jenocres Adol fought is the same one that Yunica or Hugo fought.
- Although Jenocres initially appeared as a human wizard in multiple versions of Ys I: Ancient Ys Vanished ~ Omen including the OVA and was described as such, it appears in the prequel Ys Origin as a demon.
