Bami (バミー) is a female sorceress who seems to be working with Gadis for some nefarious purpose in the trees of Celceta.
History[]
Bami, along with Gadis, is an associate of Gruda. In his bid to take control of the Akashic Records, Gruda brought her to start causing chaos around Celceta.

Ys: Memories of Celceta[]
She is responsible for disappearances of hunters in the village of Comodo as she is testing the powers of the replica masks that Gruda created. To that end, she kidnaps some hunters, turns them into her puppets, puts the replica masks on them, and makes them attack the village. She takes special interest in Remnos, who was hiding his talent as a fighter so as not to hurt his sister Karna's feelings. When Adol and his party catch up to her, she simply vanishes along with Remnos after mocking Karna.
She later confronts the party at the summit of the mount Vesuvio. Once she realizes Remnos' betrayal, she curses his replica mask so that it would kill him in due time. Fortunately, Adol and his party manage to catch up to her and defeat her, successfully recovering one half of the mask of the moon and saving Remnos' life in the process.

- It is not stated in the game whether she is a member of the Clan of Darkness. But considering her powers, it is very likely.
- Though in Ys 30th Anniversary Memorial Book, Gruda has his origin states to be Danan, Bami and Gadis has their origins as "Unknown."
- In Ys IV: Mask Of The Sun: A New Theory Adol spares her after being defeating in battle, and can be seen in the epilogue sitting on a rocking chair inside a shack, with Gadis' grave standing outside, the scene fades to white after a mysterious character (Gruda presumably) opens the door.
