Ezer 【Balta's Chamberlain】 The youth who works as a chamberlain in the Balta household. He is young but polite, and is outstanding in his works. He always think about Karja first and foremost. Faraway homeland Although usually rational, his attitude turns when his homeland in Britai is mentioned. His hometown seems to have been destroyed by the Normans... Ideal retribution Karja once saved Ezer. He reflected on his way of surviving, and decided to tend to Karja entirely out of his free will.

Timeline of Events

2 AC - Chamberlain Ezer is born in Britai.

10 AC - Chamberlain Ezer's hometown is ransacked by Grimson's troupe. Ezer's father is killed by the Normans, and his mother and sister take their own lives shortly after. Karja takes Ezer as a "spoil of war", leading him to do work on Balta Island.

17 AC - Chamberlain Ezer is recruited onto the Sandras, providing help around the shop and supplying goods when the ship is in an unusable state.
