Dran (ドラン) was the Chief Guard of the Eternian capital Aegias and commanded the Elite Guards. He was said to be the strongest soldier alive at the time and also took part in martial arts competitions. He was well respected among the Eternians of the capital.
His son Rastell admired him greatly and aspired to become a guard like him. Dran was not too fond of this idea at first, as he cared a lot about his son. He gave in later, as Rastell was very persistent about becoming a guard.
Dana, the Maiden of the Great Tree, heavily respected Dran and vice-versa. She was shocked and saddened to hear from Rastell that Dran died from the impact of the meteors during the Lacrimosa.
