The Dragon Warrior is a hero or heroine the Five Dragons of Altago select to make a final battle with the Maiden of Demise in order to prevent the Wind of Destruction. Since the goal of the ritual is to eventually summon the Root of All Existence, the Dragon Warrior is effectively a mediator between the supreme beings to rebalance the disturbance of Altago without resorting to complete annihilation.
After collecting the essence from all Five Dragons, Adol was subsequently selected as the Warrior. However, Ze-Kalios noted that all Dragon Warriors from previous cycles have failed to prevent the completion of the ritual.
