Party Members are characters who join Adol Christin on his journeys in Ys series games. It is a system that started from Ys Seven. Other than Ys Seven, all other games that includes party members has maximum of 5 where 2 is active, and 3 others are in the backup team. The party members have an attack attribute which are strong against certain types of monsters on the field. Usually one of them will be the same attribute as Adol (slash), the others are strike and pierce/shot.
