Balduq Prison (バルドゥーク監獄?) is the prison located to the north of Balduq. It is the largest penal institution in the Romun Empire. Originally a fortress made to protect the nation's borders, it has since been largely renovated for use as a prison. A drawbridge at its front serves as its only entrance. With steep stone walls and deep canals all around, it is widely touted as being totally inescapable. At one point, the prison was used to imprison vocal critics of the Romun Empire as political criminals. As such, it does not hold a particularly high reputation with the residents of Balduq.

Structure[]

The prison is primarily divided between its north, south, east and west wings. Situated between them is the central wing, which serves as a hub connecting to each of its subordinate structures.

North Wing[]

North wing is the highest among the five wings. It boasts a watch tower that soars above the rest of the facility. It is said that the tower is essentially impregnable. Prisoner Adol is locked in the X floor of the Watch tower.
