Anea (아네아) is the eldress of the Elf Village in Ys II Special.
She is strongly opposed to humans and refuses to let Adol pass through the guardhouse to access the other half of the village. After Adol tries to enter her house three times, he finally mentions that he is on a quest to return the books of Ys, which piques her interest. With this revelation, she agrees to grant him passage to the other half of the village, where the path to the next tower awaits.
After Adol defeats Dark Tovah and returns to her house she begins to open up to him, and they discuss his plans to venture to the Ice Ridge of Noltia, a desolate place known for harboring criminals. She reveals that Anea’s daughter, Arisa, went to the Ice Ridge out of compassion for the thieves residing there. Anea then asks Adol to locate Arisa and speak with her, to which Adol readily agrees. In addition, she hands him her ring to give to Arisa if he finds her.
