Luke (ルーク), Hope (ホープ) or Will (ウィル) is the son of Alison and Ed, who is born in Castaway Village.

Appearance

Alison's child is a newborn male baby with blue hair, similar to his parents. He is seen wrapped in a towel, wearing a baby blue outfit. Ed later makes him a new red outfit, with Alison explaining that the color red is a symbol of good luck for them and a way for them to remember Adol.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

He is born shortly after Ed joins the village, with Licht and Sister Nia helping with delivering the child.

To thank Adol for everything he did, and wishing for his son to become as brave as Adol, Ed requests of Adol to become the child's godfather, and to name him. Adol can name him either Luke or Hope, depending on the player's choice. If the quest to find Ed is not completed, Alison and Ed name him Will instead.
