Alga (アルガ) is the leader of the Ibur Gang and the mother of Dios, Nottis and Terra in Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand. She is a strong-willed and bossy middle-aged woman, but one who is willing to do anything for her family and the people whom she respects.

- In the original concept her name was never revealed, and she was only referred to as "Mama (ママ)". Her husband was a low ranking official from the eastern kingdom of Orietta. Unfortunately, after failing a mission, he got executed and his family was thrown out into the streets. In order to survive, she and her family had to turn to a life of crime. She was tricked by Rizze into collecting the crystals believing that once she reached the city of Kefin, Alga and her family could start a new and honest life. As Terra's father is revealed to be Ladoc the pirate in Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim, one may assume that this backstory is no longer canon.
- In the PS2 version of Ys V's epilogue, where Niena is saved, she is seen in the Xandria Town Inn with the rest of her family. She vows to abandon thievery and to pursue an honest life henceforth, along with her children who also support the same decision.
